I am looking for help with intermittent finger picking (only when skin gets dry) and difficulty in putting self to bed at night. Either watch YouTube for hours or fall asleep sitting up and hurt neck for hours and have unbrushed teeth, leaving lights on, staying in chair when it's too chilly and could use a sweater or to get in bed. There are other things as well that are a lack of self care that I compulsively do, like not going to pee when my bladder is full and not getting out of bed when it's time. Also, snacking too much. Reason I list all these, when some may seem like clinical depression and low motivation, is that I'm powerless over these things and I believe in steps 1, 2, and 3 to help me.

The list must be much shorter than the world offers as far as various programs that exist! You might wanna get on there. Easy to do to edit the page. I did see Obsessive Skin Pickers Anonymous, though.
As with my other two fantastic programs, DA and AlAnon, I'm used to sometimes feeling like the experiences of other members don't fit mine perfectly, so I can dig I could maybe get something out of your program that would help me even if my compulsion to pick my fingers or do other things isn't as bad as other people's. But additional identification with others' stories is very helpful, as you also might also have noticed. So I'm putting the question to you of whether you know of various other 12-step programs that might be useful for this kind of thing related to lack of willingness to give myself great care.
